WELCOME TO PEACHLAND WORLD OF WHEELS
2019 Organizing Committee
More than 550 cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique boats attended the Peachland World of Wheels Show & Shine in previous years. Participants regularly attend from the entire Okanagan Valley (from Osoyoos in the South Okanagan to Vernon/Armstrong/Enderby in the North Okanagan and all communities in between). Participants also attend from Alberta, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver area and Washington State. Many of the participants come back year after year to attend this show and the Peachland World of Wheels Organizing Committee welcomes all existing and new participants to attend the 2020 show.
The car show runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm rain or shine. On show day vehicles line up on both sides of Beach Avenue for about two kilometers and also set up in Heritage Park and neighboring Cousins Park. Beach Avenue follows the shoreline of Okanagan Lake providing a picturesque setting for the day’s events.
We invite all participants and visitors to the show to park your car for the day and enjoy the car show, the local restaurants, the shops, the show sponsors’ and vendors’ displays and the community amenities along the shores of Okanagan Lake.
The Peachland World of Wheels Show & Shine is organized by a small group of dedicated volunteers who work throughout the year to put on this show. A larger group of volunteers helps out on the day of the show to ensure a pleasant experience for participants as well as for those folks who want to look at all makes and models of vehicles from the past. These volunteers are crucial to the success of this show.
The show would not be possible without the participants and the support of our dedicated sponsors (see our sponsor page) as well as staff and officials from the District of Peachland, the RCMP and the Peachland Fire and Rescue Service.
The Peachland World of Wheels Show & Shine attracts more than 10,000 visitors annually and the Organizing Committee looks forward to the 10,000 plus visitors who will attend this year.
We hope to see you there.
